"The Charge of the Church" (Matthew 28:16-20)

What is the church for? We'll remember and consider anew this Sunday Jesus' "Great Commission" for his church. What is our role in Christ's mission, both as individuals and as a church, and how do we accomplish this task we've been given?

"Where Is Your Commitment?" (Mark 12:13-17)

This Sunday we're taking a break from our sermon series in Genesis to welcome back Pastor Ron Bouthillette. Pastor Ron served for many years as Senior Pastor of The Bridge Community Church in Milford, New Hampshire. He is currently Associate Executive Minister of The American Baptist Churches of Massachusetts (TABCOM) and is a former member of Ruggles from back in the 1970s!

"Rise and Grind" (Proverbs 6:6-11)

For many, the New Year is a time for setting goals and aspiring to greater success, particularly at work. As Christians, how should we approach our work? How do we avoid the temptation to laziness while also making sure we don't put all of our identity into our work? The book of Proverbs has much wisdom to offer us.

Self-Fulfillment vs. Self-Denial (Matthew 16:20-28)

Our culture surrounds us with messages of self-love and self-fulfillment, yet in our passage this Sunday, Jesus calls us to self-denial. After declaring the mission of the church to storm the gates of death, we'll see how the church is to do this. Surprisingly, we are to bring life by following Christ in death.
